It’s been so great to be back on the road.

Last Thursday was our first night in Canterbury, somewhere we’ve never played before.

The audience were wonderful and we all had a great time.

It’s a pity we had no time to look around, but that’s showbiz.

Friday found us in St. Albans at the Alban arena, somewhere we have played a few times before. Because of its proximity to London we all had quite a few family and friends there. It was a great gig, he said modestly.

On Saturday we played in Dartford at The Orchard theatre, somewhere else we have played many times before.

The crowd were great and we now get the opportunity to meet many of them as we now do a merchandising signing session after each show.

No lie in for me on Sunday morning as myself Rick and Mick were on ‘Weekend Wogan’ on Radio 2. Terry was charming and very funny. For those who would like to listen to it go to

We had a nice lunch on the way to Tunbridge wells where we played at the Assembly Hall.

The gig was unfortunately dogged by tech and sound problems.

It’s very rare for things to go wrong, so when it does happens it makes me very unhappy, as we always want to give our audience the very best show possible.

Watch this space for more news from the road when we resume on Thursday in Southport.
